Bill Logue
came on as full time Assistant Pastor of Buckley Road Baptist Church
in February 2005. He is not new to the area, as he came to New
York in 1985 to work in Church planting. They have nine children:
some at home and some serving the Lord here in the States.
Bill was led
to the Lord in 1958 but wasn't in a Baptist church until 1975.
“In 1975 he not only surrendered to
preach and go to Bible College, but also to do my best to raise my family
to bring honor and glory to God. I did not know how to do that but,
by faith, submitted myself to God’s leading to accomplish this task I
couldn’t do. All my
decisions are made with a concern for the local church because my Lord and
Savior died for the church.”
Pastor Logue graduated from Baptist Bible College of Springfield,
Missouri, with a 3-year Missions and 4-year Theology degree. He
pastored from 1980-82 at Bethany Baptist in Altona, Illinois, helped plant
one church from 1982-84 in Columbia, Missouri, and another in Ogdensburg,
New York from 1985-92. He pastored at Old Fashion Baptist Bible
Church in Oxford, New York from 1992-98 when his family became members
here at BRBC.
Brother Logue’s life verse is Matthew
6:33
Nancy Logue
After being a stay-at-home mom for 33 years, raising nine children,
and home schooling for 24 years, I finally put my executive
secretarial degree back to work in accepting the position of
church secretary. It is a privilege to serve God in this
capacity, to be a part of the duties, to win souls for Christ,
baptize them, and teach them to serve the Lord. To be a part
of helping fulfill the great commission as a member of the staff of
our church is an honor that I am thoroughly enjoying.
